About

Enterprise experience, independent delivery.

I studied Computer Science at Bilkent University and began my career in the defence sector. I went on to work as a full-stack engineer for a San Francisco location-intelligence company, as a back-end engineer at Hepsiburada and as a resilience engineer at Garanti BBVA.

Today I am a Senior Developer at Agrotics, building a precision-agriculture platform for enterprise farms. Through Boz Apps I design, build and launch mobile apps, storefronts, company websites and custom software for clients.

Every engagement follows the standard I learned on systems used by millions: a written scope, weekly demos, production-grade monitoring and a documented handover.

Services

Software from idea to launch

Each engagement covers design, development, infrastructure and launch. Maintenance is available afterwards and is never a lock-in.

Mobile app

A native app that ships: from idea to the App Store, covering design, build, backend, store submission and post-launch maintenance.

  • React Native and Expo: one codebase, both stores
  • Firebase or Node backend, push notifications and analytics
  • App Store and Google Play submission, including review correspondence
  • Crash reporting and release management

Typical timeline · 6–12 weeks

E-commerce store

A Shopify build that looks like the brand rather than a theme, with the payment and invoicing rails a real store needs in place before launch.

  • Theme built from scratch, not recoloured
  • Payment setup with provider commission comparison
  • Product, collection and content architecture
  • Technical SEO, performance and measurement

Typical timeline · 3–6 weeks

Company website

For hotels, studios, cafés, agencies and teams: a site whose design and code belong to you. Fast, findable and editable without outside help.

  • Custom design and content architecture
  • Booking, forms, maps and multi-language
  • Technical SEO, sitemap and Search Console
  • Local search and business profile setup

Typical timeline · 2–4 weeks

Custom software and backend

Dashboards, integrations, APIs and data pipelines, on top of an existing system or from zero, written so the next engineer can maintain them.

  • REST APIs, admin panels and reporting screens
  • Third-party integrations and background jobs
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL or Firestore data modelling
  • Handover documentation and runbooks

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Scope and proposal

What is included, what is not and how long it takes, written down and itemised.

  2. 02

    Design round

You review the screens and the direction is agreed before any code is written.

  3. 03

    Development

Weekly demos of working software, so progress is visible throughout.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

Go-live, analytics setup and handover documentation. Maintenance is optional.

Allshots: shared event camera

An iOS app and an install-free web client that collect the photos taken at weddings and events into one live gallery. Guests scan a QR code and shoot without signing up; files are processed through Cloud Functions into the organiser’s album.

Uploads resume where they left off when venue Wi-Fi drops; the whole night exports as a single file.

ShareCam: event photo album

The event camera rebuilt leaner: guests upload straight from the browser with no app and no account, and the organiser downloads the entire night as a ZIP in one tap. Multi-language on iOS.

Read patterns and storage rules rewritten at the two points that were driving the cloud bill.

PhotoColor: AI coloring book

Turns any photo into a printable colouring page with AI. Built end to end: onboarding, photo selection, the processing pipeline and the result screen, on a commercial layer of trials, subscription tiers and a paywall.

Event-level analytics make drop-off measurable screen by screen, so product decisions rest on data.

HoHoCam: Santa, caught on camera

Parents photograph their own room and get a realistic security-camera frame of Santa leaving presents: night-vision grain, a CAM 01 label and a timestamp they set. A full-screen “Show the kids” mode hides everything but the frame.

Credit packs instead of a subscription; the scene is composited into the family’s own photo, not a stock room.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does a project take?

A website typically takes 2–4 weeks, an e-commerce store 3–6 and a mobile app 6–12. Once the scope is agreed, the delivery date is written into the contract.

What happens after launch?

Handover documentation, admin access and runbooks stay with you. Maintenance is available as an option; the code and the accounts are yours either way.

Do you work as an agency?

Boz Apps is an independent practice. I lead every engagement personally and take on a limited number of projects at a time, so each one receives senior attention from scope to launch.

Can you take over an existing project?

Yes. Most engagements start that way: I first audit the current code and infrastructure, then we agree on what needs to be done.

Where are you based?

In Bodrum, Türkiye, working remotely with clients across Türkiye and abroad. In-person meetings are available when useful.
